A Storm was brewing at Erie where Bureau Valley swept two games Thursday to move to 3-0 atop Pool B.
Bureau Valley shot down the Knoxville Blue Bullets 63-46 with Parker Neuhalfen netting 20 points and Hunter Klemme adding 14 points.
Klemme tallied four three-pointers against Knoxville and four more in a 62-34 rout over West Carroll. Brian Lange led the Storm with 15 points vs. West Carroll and Neuhalfen added 11.

The Storm (11-7) fell to Riverdale 53-41 on Friday, but still advanced to Saturday’s championship game at 7:30 p.m. against Orion.
St. Bede 79, Ottawa Marquette 66: The Bruins tripped the Crusaders Thursday to play its way into Friday’s semifinals of the Marseilles Holiday Tournament. The Bruins had a terrific trio of Joe Pyszka (25), Brad Groleau (24) and Damin Smith (22) who accounted for 71 points in Thursday’s win. They accounted for all of the Bruins points going into the fourth quarter.
The Bruins also beat LaMoille/Ohio 73-32 on Wednesday. Brad Groleau had 13 points, Grant Bosnich 12 and Damin Smith 10. Brandon Morris had 10 points for the Lions (1-11).
On Thursday, LaMoille/Ohio fell to Woodland 76-54. Preston Powers led the Lions with 15 points, Morris had 14 and Julian Gonzalez 13.
Putnam County beat Peoria Heights 58-56.
On Friday, St. Bede beat Lexington 54-41 to advance into Saturday's game at 8 p.m. vs. top-seeded Kewanee, which was a 56-49 winner over Putnam County.
Burlington Central 58, Princeton 32: The Rockets outscored the Tigers 36-10 over the second half, 19-3, in the fourth quarter to win going away Thursday. Cole Evenson led PHS with eight points with Josh Kieffer adding six, J.J. Vaccaro and Zach Stroud five each and Austin Mack and Zach Hicks with four each.
On Wednesday, the Tigers beat Somonauk 68-52. Vaccaro led the Tigers with 16 points and Hicks and Kieffer added 10 each.
The Tigers will conclude tournament play at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for 19th place against Streator.
DePue 52, Lowpoint-Washburn 45: Jesse Lopez poured in 28 points for the Little Giants who led 30-18 at the half. DePue faced North Fulton for the consolation championship Friday.
Elmwood 56, Henry 54: The Trojans spoiled the top-seeded Mallards’ run to the championship with a two-point loss Thursday.
Henry settled for third place by defeatiing Brimfield 43-32 on Friday. DePue beat North Fulton 42-37 for the consolation crown and Elmwood topped Galva for first place.
Freshmen boys: Hall defeated Princeton 35-31 to claim the consolation championship of the L-P Freshmen Tournament. Chris Ballerini (10) and Victor Campos (8) were high scorers for Hall while PHS was led by Isaac Salazar (12) and Skye Behrends (7).
