LaMoille looks at vehicles, police communication

LAMOILLE — LaMoille Village Board met last week to discuss a few items in its final gathering for 2012. The agenda included approval of last month’s minutes, a review of expenditures for December, vehicle maintenance and communications for the police department.

Beginning Dec. 28, the village’s police department will begin using a new channel on its radios. The department is ready and will be compliant with this frequency change.

Other issues addressed included maintenance of the town’s vehicles. This includes repairs and preventative measures such as oil changes and cleanliness. One of the village’s squad cars will also be having a Motorola device installed to assist with power distribution.
