Fundraiser planned

MANLIUS — The Bureau Valley High School Drama Club will hold a cabaret fundraiser at 7 p.m. Jan. 13 and 14. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. each night. Coffee and baked good will be available for no charge but donations would be appreciated. Tickets are $5. The cabaret is a student-run night. Each student who is participating wrote, directed and produced the numbers that will be shown at the cabaret.

Meeting set

PRINCETON — The Hampshire Colony Congregational Church Circle ladies will meet at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 10 at the Lincoln Princeton Plaza restaurant for their monthly luncheon business meeting. Support group meeting

SPRING VALLEY — La Leche League of the Illinois Valley, a breastfeeding support group, will meet at 10 a.m. Jan. 17 in Spring Valley. This group helps mothers gain knowledge and support from other breastfeeding moms. January’s discussion will revolve around, but is not limited to, “The Advantages of Breastfeeding.” Expecting moms, as well as new and experienced mom, are encouraged to attend. Rummage sale

Community coffee

SHEFFIELD — The First United Church of Christ in Sheffield will host its monthly community coffee from 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday in the U.C.C. Parish Hall. Fresh-baked cinnamon rolls will be served.
