TISKILWA — The Tiskilwa Historical Society invites all to make their new year historic.

On Monday, the board will visit the 1844 Pulsifer House in Hennepin, home of the Putnam County Historical Society. Anyone who would like to join the road trip should meet at the Museum for an 8:30 a.m. departure. For those who want to drive on their own, the address is 327 Old Highway 26 in Hennepin. President Sidney Whitaker will provide a guided tour of the home as well as the nearby agricultural center.

Beginning at 1 p.m., back at the Museum on Main, board members will host the annual “Un-Decorating Party,” complete with popcorn and good cheer. Any local members who can spare of couple of hours on Monday afternoon are invited to help.
