Gloria Anderson of Princeton recently celebrated her 80th birthday with a special family dinner at Verucchi’s in Spring Valley.

Gloria turned 80 on Dec. 27. She was married to Myron Anderson for almost 46 years prior to his passing in 1997. They farmed in the Walnut area their entire married life.

Her children are: Carolyn (Steve) Taylor and Leslye Mack of Princeton, David (Victoria) Anderson of Wyanet and Jeanne Marie Anderson (now deceased). She also has five grandchildren, Austin Myron Mack of Princeton, and Ivan David Anderson, August Peterson Anderson, Elyse Marie Anderson and Fredrick James Anderson, all of Wyanet. Her children surprised her with a birthday card shower.
