Josephine Hand

PRINCETON — Josephine K. Hand passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton.

She was born on Sept. 17, 1932, in Cochiti, N.M., to Paul and Felipa (Herrera) Trujillo. She served in the U.S. Air Force. She married George R. Hand in San Antonio, Texas, on Nov. 8, 1952. He survives. She worked as an inspector at Sunstrand Aviation in Colorado for 10 years.

Surviving as well are five children, George P. (Cindy) Hand of Princeton, Charles W. Hand of Cochiti Lake, N.M., Susan K. (Harold) Miller of Wyanet, James A. (Pam) Hand of Princeton and Brian S. (Lisa) Hand of Rock Falls; one sister, Angel Quintana of Cochiti, N.M.; 18 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
