Lady Bruins trip IVC in NCIC opener
The St. Bede Lady Bruins kicked off the new year with a 41-28 win over IVC at Chillicothe in NCIC play Thursday.
St. Bede jumped out to a 14-4 first-quarter lead and never looked back. Whitley Funfsinn led the Lady Bruins with 13 points, and Mo Dean added 10.
Indian Creek 44, LaMoile/Ohio 13: Shiela Browning had eight points in defeat for the Lady Lions at home Thursday. Coach Dick Gross summed up the Lady Lions saying, “No scoring, no wins.”
