Lady Panthers overcome shooting woes, Hall

SPRING VALLEY — Putnam County and Hall high schools’ ladies met Thursday night in what turned out to be a messy basketball game. Given that, Putnam County was able to produce enough offense in the second half to secure a 39-20 win.

Both teams passed the ball errantly in the first quarter. They also took some bad shots that didn’t find their way anywhere near the hoop. With just under three minutes left in the first, there were only two points on the board. However, the Lady Panthers’ Daniela Pavlovich was able to push her team toward a 14-point lead by halftime.

Pavlovich led the team with 15 points overall.
