Boone becomes member of the IIMC

DIXON — Ken Boone, financial advisor with Midland States Bank Wealth Management, was selected to become a member of the Institute of Investment Management Consulting (IIMC) at Raymond James.

The institute was developed to help financial advisors drive success in their consulting practices through educational programs, ongoing communications forums and networking with other financial advisors. The IIMC curriculum provides these advisors with advanced knowledge and concepts commensurate with many high level institutional money management consultants. IIMC members are selected based on their demonstrated commitment to pursuing a consulting approach in managing and growing their practices.

Boone attended a three-day certification program covering essential investment management consulting topics such as asset allocation, manager selection and portfolio construction. The curriculum culminated in an examination that required advisors to apply the major concepts covered during the program to client situations. By successfully completing the program and examination, Boone earned the designation of Investment Management Consultant.
