PRINCETON — Today, Thursday, at 6:30 p.m., a Book Craft Night will be held at the Princeton Public Library. Learn how to make miniature books for gifts, jewelry or dollhouses.

On Monday, the Monday Night Movie will be shown at 6:30 p.m. The hilarity doesn’t let up for a moment in this classic screwball comedy as David Huxley, an uptight, stuffy paleontologist meets up with the irrepressible, unfathomable Susan Vance on the golf course.

On Tuesday, preschool story hour will take place, and the theme will be owls; Talk About: Lizzie Borden with Tricia Kelley and “Did She Do It?” will meet at 6:30 p.m.

On Jan. 17, Playing with Words: Creative Writing Workshop will meet at 6:30 p.m.

WYANET — The Raymond A. Sapp Library Board’s 2nd Thursday@the Library starts back up in January, after taking a break for Christmas. Chestnut Inn chef Monika Sudakov will again grace the library with her presence and talent. Today, Thursday, at 6:30 p.m., Chef Monika will talk to the group while preparing something delicious to sample. There is always so much to learn about food and preparation. Chef Monika will answer food and Inn related questions during and after her presentation. It is always a good time with the chef from the Chestnut Inn in Sheffield. As always, there will be delectable refreshments.

Also, the January book group will meet at 7 p.m. Jan. 24 in the adult collection room. The group is reading Irving Wallace’s “The Man.” Written in 1964, the book’s premise runs parallel to the assassination of JFK with a twist. The public is welcome to read the book and join in the sure-to-be lively discussion.

WALNUT — Winter Adult Enrichment Classes have been scheduled at the Walnut Public Library. All classes are on Saturday beginning at 9:30 a.m. The cost of the classes will be kept at $10. If the cost is more than $10, it will be noted. All classes will be held at the library, except for the CPR class. Payment for the class must be made at the time you reserve your spot.
