KEWANEE — Kewanee Hospital has added Melisa S. Mundwiler, nurse practitioner, to the staff of the Family Health Clinic. Mundwiler will focus on caring for patients with acute and chronic health conditions, as well as providing educating on wellness and prevention.

Mundwiler is a graduate of the Methodist School of Nursing in Peoria. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mennonite College of Nursing in Bloomington, and a Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Track, from the Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University in Normal.

Mundwiler first began working at Kewanee Hospital in 2000 and has worked in the area since that time. She resides in Galva with her two children.
