WYANET — Eleanor L. Church, 98, of Wyanet passed away at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Liberty Village of Princeton.

Eleanor was born on Aug. 25, 1914, in Wyanet to Lee and Georgia (Cornish) Olds. She married Lester Conklin on Sept. 29, 1935. He preceded her in death on Jan. 9, 1953. She then married Glenn Church on July 7, 1956, and he preceded her in death on June 21, 1986.

Eleanor lived in Wyanet most of her lifetime and she was employed at Harper-Wyman Inc. in Princeton for 25 years. She was a member of the Community Bible Church in Wyanet, the Wyanet VFW Auxiliary Post 6634 for more than 50 years, and was a three-term president. She also served on the Wyanet Village Board for seven years and was the first woman board member for the village of Wyanet.
