Virginia Schisler

MANLIUS — Virginia E. Schisler, 82, of Princeton, formerly of Manlius, passed away at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at Coventry Living Center in Sterling.

Born April 1, 1930, in Summum, Ill., to Earnest and Francis (Scrogum) Easley, she married William E. Schisler Aug. 21, 1949, in Springfield. He survives.

She was a 1948 graduate of Astoria High School. She was a farmer's wife.

Also surviving are two sons, Craig Schisler of Polo and Kevin Schisler of Morrison; and two grandchildren, Jason Schisler of Madison, Wis., and Ryan Schisler of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home, Princeton, with the Rev. Jeff McIlrath officiating. Burial will be in the Manlius Cemetery, Manlius.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be directed to the Manlius Cemetery Association or the donor's choice.

Pallbearers will be Richard Woodley, Jason Schisler, Ryan Schisler, Fred Lebahn, Eddy Notschaele and Craig Miller.
