And the band played on ...

I like to play music a lot,. I love the way it sounds, but to be honest, I personally don’t like a lot of the current music, I like old, classical music, like “Canon in D” or “Trumpet Voluntary.”

I play the trumpet. I have been considered to be pretty good at it in our band. I liked our band teacher a lot. Her name was Mrs. Aper; she was really fun and energetic, and she loved all of our individual  playing skills and styles. She would teach us how to learn the music but left the part of how we played it up to our own pace. She was an amazing teacher that we all loved to have.

The reason our band was good was because of our teacher. But she passed away this year a few months ago. After her, our band hasn’t been the same. We have had replacement teachers, and just recently got our new teacher. I personally wouldn’t have liked any teacher coming in to fill in their position, but they all helped our community in a state of gloom and grief. I would like to personally thank them for filling in such a difficult roll.
