There are a number of new children’s books now at the library. These titles include “Where Do Diggers Sleep at Night?” by Brianna Sayres; “Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site” by Sherri Rinker; “Little Blue Truck” by Alice Schertle; “The Goodnight Train” by June Sobel; “Kiss Good Night” by Amy Hest; “I Would Tuck You In” by Sarah Asper-Smith; “Don’t You Feel Well Sam?” by Amy Hest; and “My Truck Is Stuck!” by Kevin Lewis.

This spring, the library will not be selling Butter Braids as a fundraiser.

LAMOILLE — Computer classes continue at the LaMoille-Clarion Public Library. Classes are offered on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 10 a.m. and Tuesday evening at 5:15 p.m. Each class lasts about one hour. For questions regarding classes or to sign up, contact the library at 815-638-2356 or email llibrary@live.com. Funding for classes is made possible through the Eliminate the Digital Divide Grant. Additional library benefits made possible through the EDD Grant will be announced soon.

A reminder the library has the A to Z the USA and A to Z the World databases for those students currently working on history and geography projects.

LaMoille Cub Scout Pack 4059 will show the movie “Down and Derby” at the library at 10 a.m. Saturday. All are welcome to attend, and snacks will be provided.

Closings due to the weather will be announced on WZOE and also listed on the library Facebook page. To be safe, call the library before heading out in questionable conditions.

PERU — The Peru Public Library holds a story time for children ages 3 to 5 at 10:30 a.m. every Wednesday. Children will hear stories, sing songs, dance and learn finger plays. Registration is not required. Visit www.perulibrary.org or call 815-223-0229, ext. 5, for more information.
