DIXON – There is still time to place a bid on the primary residence belonging to disgraced comptroller Rita Crundwell.

So far, the U.S. Marshals Service has received an unsolicited offer of $350,000 for the home at 1679 U.S. Route 52. Counteroffers are due by 2 p.m. Jan. 25.

An open house for interested buyers will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.
