SPRING VALLEY — Spring Valley elementary schools have set kindergarten pre-registration from 8 to 10 a.m. and 2 to 6:30 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Lincoln School Gymnasium. Children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1 and who reside in the Spring Valley Elementary School District can be registered. No fees will be collected at this time. Parents should enter the doors off of Erie Street.
Parents are asked to bring an original certified birth certificate from the county in which the child was born. Hospital certificates are not acceptable. The certificate will be retained by the district in child’s permanent records. Obtaining a birth certificate for parents to keep in their own records is also suggested, as additional copies are less expensive.

Immunization, physical, dental and eye exam records are also required. Forms will be provided at registration for the state required exams that are due by the first day of school.

Parents unable to register their child on Jan. 30 should call Lincoln School at 815-663-5631 to arrange an alternate time to register.
