Friday night sports update

Hall senior Brett Fanning went over the 1,000 point career scoring mark, but the Red Devils fell to Ottawa Marquette 65-62 Friday at Red Devil Gymnasium.

Fanning tossed in 26 points, pushing his career mark to 1,006.

At Princeton, the Tigers lost to IVC 66-40. Zach Stroud had 11 points and Cole Evenson added 10. The PHS sophs won 55-50 behind Garrett Duffin's 22 points.

In other Friday hoop action, St. Bede beat Sterling Newman 63-36, Bureau Valley topped Fulton 57-49 and Henry beat Peoria Christian 56-41
