Meeting set

WYANET — The Wyanet Golden Eagles will meet at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 5 at Main Street BBQ in Wyanet. Lunch is pay for your own, and all seniors 50 and over are welcome to attend.  For additional information, phone Louise at 815-699-7768.

Quilters meeting

PRINCETON — The Covered Bridge Quilters Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Christ Community Church, 1719 Euclid Ave., Princeton. Guests are welcome to attend the meeting for a fee of $5. Carol Onken will present a trunk show consisting of many appliqued quilts. Terry Johnson will demonstrate a spiral table runner during a workshop to be held on Feb. 9 at the Christ Community  Church. The class will start at 9 a.m. and end at 3 p.m.

Community coffee

SHEFFIELD — The First Church of Christ will hold its community coffee from 7 to 10 a.m. Feb. 2 in the U.C.C. Parish Hall. Fresh-baked cinnamon rolls will be served.

DAR meeting

PRINCETON — The Princeton-Illinois chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a coffee-time meeting at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 2 at the Prouty Building. Jeff Dean, president and C.E.O. of Gateway Services in Princeton, will present the program. Judy Schwiderski will report on children of the American Revolution. Members come prepared to sign Easter cards for veterans. Hostesses are Judy Schwiderski, Karen Schwiderski, Carol Schennum and Beverly Larson.
