Fanning joins 1,000-point club at Hall

Brett Fanning shot his way into the record books at Red Devil Gymnasium, becoming the 10th Hall player to join the 1,000-point club for Hall High School.

Hall’s senior guard tallied 26 points Friday in a 65-62 loss to Ottawa Marquette, now standing No. 10 on the all-time scoring list for Hall with 1,006 career points. His father, Todd, had the honors of making the announcement as the Red Devil Gymnasium public address announcer.

Fanning is the first Red Devil to reach 1,000 points since Korby Kasperski, who stands No. 9 all-time, finished with 1,011 points in 2007-08.
