Ghosts speed up the game on Tigers
PRINCETON — The IVC Grey Ghosts turned up the throttle Friday night at Prouty Gymnasium and the Princeton Tigers couldn’t quite catch up.
Utilizing an uptempo game, the Grey Ghosts sped past the Tigers to the tune of a 68-49 victory in NCIC play.
“They got us playing a little faster than we wanted to,” PHS coach Jesse Brandt said. “We did a decent job against the press, but when we got into the halfcourt, we went after it a little too quick. They tried to speed us and it worked. We didn’t execute in the halfcourt set.”
