PRINCETON — Today, Thursday, Talk About: Survival Skills in the Wild will be presented by Jason Thompson at 6:30 p.m. at the Princeton Public Library.

On Monday, the Monday Night Movie will be shown at 6:30 p.m. A classic fairy tale with swordplay, giants, an evil prince, a beautiful princess and true love, as read by a kindly grandfather (played by Peter Falk). This film, directed by Rob Reiner, is based on William Goldman’s novel. Cary Elwes and Robin Wright juggle romantic fervor and physical slapstick effortlessly, while supporting roles boast Mandy Patinkin (the swordsman Inigo Montoya), Wallace Shawn (the incredulous schemer Vizzini), and Christopher Guest (evil Count Rugen) with brief but funny cameos from Billy Crystal, Carol Kane and Peter Cook.

On Tuesday, the preschool story hour will take place at 10:30 a.m., and the theme will be snow. Talk About: Music Program: TV Theme Songs and Jingles will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Sing along with pianist Charlie Gebeck and program coordinator Ron McCutchan and reminisce about your favorite shows, play “Name that Tune,” and break for commercials. Audience members are encouraged to think of a favorite tune or jingle to sing or hum as a stumper for the rest of the group.
