Eagles land third in Prairie Conference

On Jan. 11, the Princeton Christian Academy boys’ A and B basketball teams each captured third place in the Prairie Conference Tournament played at St. Louis Catholic School in Princeton.

The Eagles A Team was seeded third in the conference tourney after a 6-4 season. The A Team took third in the Conference Tournament by defeating Rhema Academy 31-25.

The PCA B Team was seated fourth in the conference, and placed third in the tournament by defeating Dimmick 30-16.

The Eagles are coached by Buc Grey and Tony Clausen, assisted by former Eagle, Matthew Butler.

In the A Team competition, Lostant captured first place and Dimmick took second. In the B Team contest, St. Louis School took first and Lostant took second. Other teams in the eight-school Prairie Conference include Cherry, Dalzell, and Deer Park.
