Flaig heads up women’s masters
Former Master’s champ Anna Flaig leads the 2013 tournament at the halfway mark.
Flaig, who won the Masters in 1998, 2004, 2007 and 2008 holds a 48.46 to 47.27 edge in Peterson Points over Cari Hanson, also a four-time winner. Defending champ Melody Beans (46.11) stands third with Shannon Allen (43.02) and Melinda Camp (42.34) rounding out the top five.
Tournament director Mary Hartman said the tournament has been a lot of fun with a lot of different faces this year. The tournament resumes at 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Crown Lanes Centre.
