Stark County 4-H receives grant

BRADFORD — The Stark County 4-H has announced DuPont Pioneer donated $5,000 toward the revitalization of the Bradford project park.

The funds will be directed toward replacing existing equipment and adding more pieces of park equipment to allow more children to play safely.

“Updating the town park is a tremendous opportunity to support family life, health and safety,” said Robyn and Lance Gentle of Gentle Seed Sales. “This project will benefit the residents of Bradford and surrounding communities. We are proud to support this community project.”

“Project Park is a great opportunity to improve our community and for the 4-H youth to be part of giving back to make things better for future generations,” said Stark County 4-H leader Marjie Loudenburg. “This is the same park many of the 4-Hers played on as small children and still do, and therefore, is especially meaningful.”

Pioneer makes contributions to community-based organizations on behalf of the business and employees. Consideration for outreach grants are given to communities where Pioneer representatives, employees and customers live and work and that support quality-of-life initiatives to create an improved, sustainable lifestyle for people worldwide.
