Thankfully, the ice didn’t amount to much on our area highways, however, it was quite picturesque — a photographer’s dream. I don’t know about you, but there was even thunder and lightning in Sheffield! What a hoot!

There’s a big football game this Sunday, and I’m sure many of you have big plans to celebrate while you watch the game. Just a reminder ... Valentine’s Day is only a couple of weeks away. Plan now to make it special for those you love. When I was a little kid, my grandpa used to buy us a little box of Russell Stover candy every year. It became a tradition that I never fail to remember when this special day of love rolls around. Traditions turn into memories ... and after all, when it’s all said and done ... memories are all we really have.
