Miller pleads guilty to sexual abuse charge
PRINCETON — Sam Miller, 65, formerly of Spring Valley has entered an open plea of guilty in Bureau County Court to the felony charge of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Miller entered his open plea of guilty on Jan. 17 before Circuit Judge Marc Bernabei. The judge ordered the probation department to conduct a pre-sentence investigation and set the matter for a sentencing hearing at 9:30 a.m. March 8.
Miller was represented in court by Public Defender Michael Henneberry. Prosecuting the case was State’s Attorney Patrick Herrmann.
