Special event

PRINCETON — Perry Memorial Hospital in Princeton will host a “Lunch and Learn” event from 12:15 to 12:50 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Prouty Building in Princeton. Jan Pistole, RN, cardiac rehab coordinator at Perry, will discuss “Heart Health.” There will be a $5 charge for a healthy light lunch that will be provided or participants may bring their own bag lunch. The program is free. To R.S.V.P. call 815-876-4481 no later than Tuesday.

Quilt Guild meeting

OGLESBY — The Nine Patch Quilt Guild will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Dickinson House in Oglesby. All members are asked to bring a fat quarter in a ziploc bag. The group meets regularly on the second Tuesday of each month at the Dickinson House. New members are welcome. For more information, call Jean Daley at 815-883-8725.

Pancake breakfast

LAMOILLE — The LaMoille Lions Club will serve an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the club. Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for ages 5-10.

GFWC meeting

PRINCETON — The GFWC Woman’s Club of Princeton will meet at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Prouty Building in Princeton. Terri Johnson will share the art and creativity of quilting with a “Trunk Show”. Any interested women are invited to attend this special program. Bonnie Bangert and Elaine Bolatto will be hostesses. For more information, contact president Clara Pease at 815-872-0430.

Meeting set

PRINCETON — Princeton Junior Home Extension will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Greenfield Assisted Living. Hostesses will be Joann Johnson and Ruth Eckhoff. Co-hostess is Debbie Monroe. The leader will be Dorothy Johnson.

Fish fry and baseball sign-up

MANLIUS — The Manlius Baseball Association annual fish fry and league sign-up will be from 5 to 7 p.m. March 8 at the Manlius Sportsmen’s Club in Manlius. Volunteers are needed and should call Chris Maynard for information at 815-878-4732.

Midday Connection

OGLESBY — Illinois Valley Midday Connection, a non-denominational Christian Group, will meet at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 19 at Deer Park Country Club in Oglesby.
