Currently a junior, he is a member of the Princeton High School band, Princeton Community Band and IVCC Jazz Band, and plays with the praise band at the Evangelical Covenant Church.

Performances will also include first runner-up Rachel Haas, flute, and Hanna Bressner, flute; honorable mention winners Joannah Cisneros, flute; and Kailee McGillis, violin. The IVSO Young Performers Concerto Competition provides the opportunity for outstanding young instrumentalists, grades 6-12, to compete for performing with the Illinois Valley Symphony.
