IVAC’s annual dinner is Feb. 7

UTICA — The 101st Illinois Valley Area Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development (IVAC) annual dinner will be Feb. 7 at the Starved Rock Lodge and Conference Center in Utica.

The event will begin with a cash bar at 6 p.m. followed by awards, dinner at 7 p.m. and entertainment by comedian Tim Clue.

Clue is a professional humorist, corporate entertainer and motivational speaker originally from Rochelle. Before being a stand-up comedian, he was a professor of communications. Clue has effortlessly hit the funny bone for hundreds of top notch companies such as Microsoft Office, Caterpillar and Bombardier — makers of Ski-Doo watercraft. He has also appeared on Comedy Central, opened for Jerry Seinfeld and Steven Wright, has been heard on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s comedy, and opened for George Bush senior.

Reservations for the dinner, which is open to the public, can be made by calling the IVAC office at 815-223-0227. The cost of the dinner is $35 per person.
