Tigresses dig too deep of a hole

PRINCETON — The Princeton Tigresses hosted Dixon Tuesday night in their final home game of the season. The Duchesses had a big first half and were able to stay ahead in the second, winning 44-25.

It was a tale of two halves that saw a great shooter in Dixon’s Brooke Bailey. She collected a game-high 26 points, 12 coming in the first quarter, helping to shoot Dixon to a 30-10 halftime lead.

“We played a great second half. I’m really proud of my seniors. They always leave it on the court; night in and night out,” PHS coach Kevin Hieronymus said. “It didn’t surprise me because they always do that for us. It was their last game here tonight and they gave it their all.”
