BV FFA Chapter attends 212 Degree Conference

Bureau Valley FFA members (front row, from left) Jenna Hansen, Evan Ringle, Dana Kepner and Emma Deppen; and (back row) Darren Riskedal, state FFA President, and Jay Norden, Tom Brummel, Drew Fordham and Trey Dale attended the National FFA organization’s 212 Degree Conference at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg Hotel, Schaumburg, on Jan. 25-26. The two-day 212 Degree Conference personal development program helped students learn skills for personal growth and how to set and achieve goals. The conference also featured a self-discovery workshop designed to help members find their own passions for success in life. There were 437 FFA members attending the conference, which was open to freshman and sophomore FFA members.
