BVHS art students to exhibit at IVCC

MANLIUS — Art students from Bureau Valley High School will take part in the annual Illinois Valley Community College High School Art Exhibition.

The exhibition showcases outstanding artworks from throughout the IVCC district. The exhibition will run from Monday to Feb. 22 in Building D at IVCC.

A reception for the participants and their friends and families will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 12.

Bureau Valley entries include drawings, paintings, assemblages, sculpture and photographs. Students exhibiting work are: Samantha Krieger, ebony pencil portrait; Federico Papa, ebony pencil portrait; Daniel Trone, acrylic portrait; Jonelle Norden, assemblage; Jacquelyn Phillips, ebony portrait; Lily Gould, acrylic portrait; Amber Shipp, ebony portrait; and Christy Williams, assemblage.

Sheila L. Heth is the BVHS art instructor.
