PRINCETON — Today, Thursday, Workshop: Papercraft: Valentine Cards will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Princeton Public Library.

On Monday, the Festival 56 Committee will meet at 4 p.m., and the Monday Night Movie will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Henry Roth is a man afraid of commitment until he meets the beautiful Lucy. Henry thinks he’s finally found the girl of his dreams until he discovers she has short-term memory loss and forgets him the very next day.

On Tuesday, the preschool story hour will take place at 10:30 a.m., and the theme will be “Valentines.” There will be a digital show and photographers reception for “Seeing Red” at 6:30 p.m., and the PAHE Group will meet at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, Gamma Phi will meet at 4:30 p.m., and Chicks with Sticks will meet at 6:30 p.m. with Geri Woodlief offering knitting instruction for beginners.

On Feb. 14, Heartland Bank and Trust will sponsor a bingo event at 1 p.m., and the Friends Book Club will meet at 4 p.m. to discuss “Those Who Save Us” by Jenna Blum.

LAMOILLE — Junior high students who have participated in the Rebecca Caudill Awards program will meet at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the LaMoille-Clarion Public Library for pizza and to vote for their favorite nominee. Participants must have read at least three of the nominated books to take part.

Also, the library will have a Valentine’s Day/chocolate story hour at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. All ages are invited.

The library will offer a class on multimedia in March. This class will cover working with digital photos, digital music and videos. Anyone interested in the class should call the library at 815-638-2356.

Computer classes are ongoing, so if you haven’t had the opportunity to take advantage of these free classes, there is still time. All materials are furnished. Classes are funded by the Eliminate the Digital Divide Grant. Need to update or build a resume? Library staff are available to teach you how to use the Cypress Resume database.

The library will soon be lending eReaders and offering eBooks to our patrons. Certain stipulations apply.
