GRANVILLE — On Feb. 1, the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team (Tri-DENT), with the assistance of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, conducted the arrest of Melissa A. Power, 31, of 419 Seventh St., McNabb.

The arrest of Power was the result of a lengthy investigation of Power’s narcotic activity. During the investigation, Power sold, purported hydrocodone to an undercover Tri-DENT agent in Granville. Power was then immediately taken into custody by Tri-DENT agents and the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department.

Continuing the investigation of Power, on Feb. 2, Tri-DENT, with the assistance of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department, conducted the arrest of Carol A. Kershner, 51 of the same McNabb address.
