Princeton sets budget schedule

PRINCETON — The Princeton City Council met for 10 minutes Monday night in a brief meeting.

Princeton City Manager Jeff Clawson told commissioners and department heads there will be a special council meeting on March 11 to deal with next year’s city budget. The first reading of the ordinance is slated for the regular council meeting on March 18, and the second reading is set for the council meeting on April 1. The council will adopt the budget at that meeting.

Clawson also reported bids will be sought for mowing services at the city-owned cemeteries.
