Agricultural Heritage Museum co-sponsors FFA Olympics

KEWANEE — The Midwest Agricultural Heritage Museum invites the public to the 2013 FFA Olympics and tractor show at the Black Hawk College East Campus on Feb. 16, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The campus is east of Galva at the intersection of Routes 34 and 78. Admission to this family-friendly event is free.

“We are extremely pleased to be a co-sponsor of the 2013 FFA Olympics,” said Chris McMillen, the Midwest Agricultural Heritage Museum’s chairman of the board. “It fits with our mission to promote awareness and appreciation of the role of agriculture in our lives.”

The museum is also contributing prize money for the tractor show.
