Mark and Christie Pratt of rural Neponset are announcing the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Stephanie Anderson, to Jason Marquis. He is the son of Mark Marquis of Peoria and Denise (Roger) Bolin of rural Buda.

The bride-elect holds a cosmetology license from Educators of Beauty. She is a 2007 graduate of Bureau Valley High and works at Ultimate Salon & Spa in Princeton.

Her fiancé received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He is a 2004 graduate of Bureau Valley High School and works for Marquis Management Services in Hennepin.
