GOSHEN, Ind. — Evelyn Marie Gunden, 79, of Goshen, Ind., passed away Tuesday morning, Feb. 5, 2013, at Greencroft Goshen Health Care.

She was born Dec. 23, 1933, in Princeton, Ill., to Lloyd and Erma (Brutcher) Rocke.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherri Lu Shon (Delmar) Gunden King and Carla Gunden, both of Goshen, Ind. and Marla (Dennis) Peak of Edwardsburg, Mich.; two sons, Kent Gunden of Goshen, Ind. and Dennis (Kimberly) Gunden of Edwardsburg, Mich.; seven grandchildren, Joseph and Lauren King, Christopher and Elizabeth Gunden and Nathan, Anthony and Lindsey Peak; three great-grandchildren, Kade and Brielle Peak and Gabrielle Gunden; and a brother, Vern (Barbara) Rocke of Fredricksburg, Va.

A member of Belmont Mennonite Church, she retired from Mennonite Mutual Aid. She volunteered at Goshen General Hospital and had served as a board member for Mennonite Disabilities Committee.
