PRESCOTT, Wis. — Mary Christine Bence Crain, 64, of Prescott, Wis., passed away at 7:04 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at her home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born May 18, 1948, to Earl and Betty (Coble) Bence.
She attended Sisler School and Princeton High School. She was employed at Bergquist in Prescott, Wis., and Harper-Wyman and Pappas' McDonald's in Princeton.
Surviving are her longtime partner, Kenneth Marquette, and his family; four children, Lisa (Loren) Burton of Manlius, Eric D. (Sherry) LaCroix of Prescott, Wis., Donald (Melissa) LaCroix of Mondovi, Wis., and Sandra Novak of Prescott, Wis.; one brother, Kenneth (Sharon) Bence of Princeton; one sister, Kathleen (Michael) Smith of Wyanet; 13 grandchildren; four nieces and two nephews; five great-nieces and nine great-nephews; and one great-great-nephew.
She was preceded in death by parents; her maternal and paternal grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
Visitation and a memorial service were held Feb. 1 at the Anderson Funeral Home in St. Paul, Minn. Burial will be at a later date. There will also be a memorial service in the Elm Lawn Memorial Chapel in Princeton at a later date.
