Two Oglesby men are arrested on drug charges
OGLESBY — Cody C. Raley, 29, of Oglesby has been charged with the Class 2 felony of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (fentanyl).
The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotic Team (Tri-DENT) arrested Raley on Feb. 4.
The arrest was the result of a Tri-DENT investigation into Raley’s narcotic activity in the Oglesby area.
A Tri-DENT agent working in an undercover capacity purchased fentanyl from Raley while in Oglesby during the course of the investigation.
Continuing the investigation of Raley, Tri-DENT officers arrested Curt A. Koehler, 49, of Oglesby on Feb. 4.
The arrest followed a pursuit of Koehler from Oglesby into the Spring Valley area while Koehler had a juvenile child in the vehicle.
Koehler was charged with the Class 2 felony of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance (fentanyl) and is pending additional traffic violations that occurred during the pursuit.
Both arrests were made with the assistance of the Oglesby Police Department.
Koehler’s arrest was made with the assistance of the Spring Valley Police Department.
Both men are being held at the LaSalle County Jail.
