Lenten event

PRINCETON — Bill and Dorothy Nelson will perform during Wednesday’s Lenten musical meditation and luncheon at the Hampshire Colony Congregational Church in Princeton. The meditation begins at 12:10 p.m. in the sanctuary and will end at 12:30 p.m. when lunch will be served.

Meeting planned

PRINCETON — The Northwest Princeton unit of Home Extension will meet at the home of Lois Johnson, 709 E. Thompson, at 7:30 p.m. today, Tuesday. Barb Ollila will give the lesson, “Food Supplements. What is the answer?” Clara Pease is co-hostess and Lois Johnson will furnish the auction gift.

Garage sale

PRINCETON — A winter garage sale will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Bureau County Fairgrounds, located at 811 W. Peru St. in Princeton. Admission is non-perishable items for the food pantry.

Breakfast planned

MANLIUS — The Manlius Boys and Girls 4-H Club will host an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Manlius Sportsman’s Club. Tickets are $6 for adults, $3 for ages 6-12; children 5 and under are free. A large bake sale table will also be available. Tickets may be purchased at the door or from any club member.

Lenten services

BUREAU — The First Congregational Church of Bureau will hold a Lenten service, Teen Challenge video and music, at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The public is invited to attend. Refreshments will follow the services.

Meeting set

WYANET — The Wyanet Golden Eagles will at meet 12:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, at Main Street BBQ. Seniors, 55 and older, are invited to attend. Lunch payment is on your own. For more information, call Louise at 815-699-7768.

Borrowed items

PRINCETON — The Princeton American Legion is asking those who have borrowed hospital equipment from the Legion to consider returning those items if no longer needed, especially the wheelchairs. Questions may be directed to 815-872-1171.
