Lenten event

PRINCETON — The Methodist Church Handbells will perform during Wednesday’s Lenten musical meditation and luncheon at the Hampshire Colony Congregational Church in Princeton. The meditation begins at 12:10 p.m. in the sanctuary and will end at 12:30 p.m. when lunch will be served.

Blood drive

OHIO — There will be a blood drive from 1 to 6 p.m. April 8 at Ohio High School.

Drawdown planned

LAMOILLE — Friends of Strays will hold its annual drawdown April 13 at the LaMoille Lions Club in LaMoille. Tickets are $40 per couple and include a chicken, pasta and beef dinner. There will also be a silent auction. First prize is $1,500. It is not necessary to be present to win. Tickets are available at the shelter in Princeton or by calling 815-872-7387.

Breakfast, egg hunt

PRINCETON — The Princeton Moose Lodge will serve a pancake and sausage breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The Lodge’s annual Easter egg hunt will follow breakfast and will begin at 11:30 a.m. Both events are open to the public.
