Knights of Columbus makes donation

Vanessa Hoffeditz, director of the Tri-County Opportunities Council, accepts a check from Princeton Knights of Columbus member Dave Boylan. Princeton Knights of Columbus Council 5591 recently began collecting canned goods and monetary donations for the local food pantry. On the last weekend of every month, the Knights collect these much needed donations from the parishioners of St. Louis Parish. After six months, they have collected 1,518 non-perishable food items (1,485 pounds) and $4,207 in monetary donations. In addition, the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council, based in New Haven, Conn., will match the Council’s monetary donations up to $500.
