DALZELL — Dalzell Grade School will hold pre-school 3-year-old, 4-year-old and kindergarten registration from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. Feb. 19-22 in the school office.

Children must be at least 3 years of age on or before Sept. 1, to register for pre-school and 5 years of age on or before Sept. 1, to register for kindergarten. A certified copy of the child’s birth certificate, obtained from the county courthouse in the county the child was born, and a social security number must be presented when the child is registered. Hospital birth certificates cannot be accepted.

Parents will be asked to complete an information sheet. No fees will be collected until registration in August. Health and eye examination forms will be handed out and must be completed by the first day of school. A dental exam and copy of a lead screening risk assessment are also required for children entering kindergarten.
