Esther play, party

SPRING VALLEY — Everyone is invited to an Esther play/party at 4 p.m. Feb. 23 at Valley Community Church, 327 E. St. Paul St. The event concerns the book of Esther, the telling of a victory of God's people, the Jews. It's one of the best dramas in the Bible, complete with a king, queen and palace, and great suspense in the royal household. Free refreshments afterward.
