Hall WYSE team wins second place
Hall High School WYSE team members won second place at the regional WYSE competition Feb. 1 at LaSalle-Peru High School. Team members include (front row, from left) Abney Bernardini, Kaylee Golden, Danielle Edwards (first place finisher in computer science), Jackie Petzel and Ranay Loehr; (second row) Tim Perez (third place in computer science), Landon Piccatto, Sam Rizzo and Nick Scheri; and (back row) Luke Lee Brown (second place in biology and chemistry), Nathan Tonozzi, Rob Lentz (first in computer science) and Travis Bigham and Alex Olivares (first in physics). The team has earned a spot at the sectional competition in March at Illinois Central College in Peoria. The Hall WYSE team is coached by Teresa Colmone.
