Martin Makransky of Princeton shows off his inner rocker Saturday as a contestant in St. Bede Academy’s 2013 Mr. SBA Contest at Celebrations 150 in Utica. Makransky and six other men competed for the title by first participating in a fashion preview and then entertaining the sold-out audience. The audience voted for their favorite with dollar bills, and Princeton’s Gary Yaklich won for his performance of “My Girl, My Hero.” The proceeds are used to fund the gap between the price of tuition and the cost to educate each student.
