DALZELL — A Dalzell woman has been arrested on drug charges by the Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team (Tri-DENT).

Christina M. Weibel, 29, was arrested Saturday, Feb. 9, by the Tri-DENT task force, with the assistance of the LaSalle Police Department, following a lengthy investigation into Weibel’s narcotic activity in the the LaSalle County and Bureau County areas.

Tri-DENT and the Illinois Valley Special Response Team executed a search warrant on Weibel’s residence and recovered about 16 grams of purported cocaine. Pending further investigation, a Bureau County arrest warant was issued for Weibel. She was taken into custody on Feb. 9 by the LaSalle Police Department.
