Bezely confesses to burglary

PRINCETON — Christopher A. Bezely, 27, of Spring Valley has been sentenced to four and one-half years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to the Class 2 felony of burglary on Feb. 7. On Jan. 17, the Spring Valley Police Department was called by Marco Medina, owner of M&D Resale and Pawn Store in Spring Valley, regarding a burglary that occurred on that date. Video surveillance showed Bezely entering the store through an unlocked window, taking small items from the store, placing them in a duffle bag, and then leaving the store through the front entrance.
